Just wanted to make a quick update to
say "Thanks!" for supporting this
Kickstart.
I originally came up with the Lib-Ray
idea as a way to solve my own
distribution problem, and I just thought
it might be useful to other people as
well. I published the idea about a year
ago and wrote about the recent prototype
changes early this year, but I didn't
notice a whole lot of interest. I was
not sure what would happen if I put it
up on Kickstarter, but I thought it was
worth a try.
The response has been pretty
gratifying: I've received a lot of
positive comments, a few suggestions, a
few offers of help, and of course quite
a few backers like you.
However, interest is starting to slow
down at around 15%, which probably means
we're hitting the saturation point for
my own network. Probably if I post more
about this myself, I'll just be
hammering the same people with it, and
they may get kind of tired of that.
So it would be much more effective at
this point if you mention the project to
your own networks -- send a link to
friends and colleagues who you think
might be interested in the idea.
Even if we don't make it, though, I
feel extremely honored by your support.
Thank you!
