The 11th Edition of HALFTONE Print Fair will be hosted for its longest run period to date. HALFTONE is an initiative by PhotoIreland, hosted every year at The Library Project, bringing together a large selection of works by established and emerging artists, showcasing and supporting Ireland’s exciting Art scene. Artworks start at €15 - the print fair has a print for every taste, wall, space, and pocket!

Open Call: PhotoIreland FUTURES Talents 2026

PhotoIreland launches the 9th FUTURES Talent Call for artists, opening the opportunity all Ireland and UK practitioners.

The submission to this opportunity organised by PhotoIreland as the Irish member of the FUTURES Photography Platform is open and free to artists based in Ireland and the UK, as much as those Irish and UK artists practicing abroad.

The call is for artists working in photography and its expanded practice at any level, who feel their practice is at a suitable stage to avail of this opportunity. The selecting jury will be looking for contemporary, lens-based artists, regardless of curriculum or experience, who have demonstrated dedication and serious intention in their practice.

Deadline 6pm Sunday 21st December 2025.

PhotoIreland presents the premiere of Solastalgia, a new body of work by David Farrell at the International Centre for the Image.

A decade after the Irish premiere of The Afronauts during PhotoIreland Festival, De Middel returns to Dublin with another premiere of her latest work. Journey to the Center presents the Central American migration route across Mexico as a heroic and daring journey, rather than a runaway.

Visitors can experience both exhibitions during opening hours of Tuesday-Sunday 11am-5:30pm. Free entry.

PhotoIreland invites applications from artists to be awarded a studio space at the International Centre for the Image for the period January-December 2026.

The International Centre for the Image, PhotoIreland's new cultural space in Dublin supported by the Arts Council of Ireland, presents locals and visitors alike with free access to modern facilities. These include an art library, artist studios, a workshop, an art bookshop, and an exhibition space. All this, alongside a year-round programme of exhibitions and events. The space brings about new and richer ways to engage with Photography and the visual arts, while expanding the discipline and empowering artists. With these facilities, the centre allows visual artists to develop their skills and practice within a creative community of peers and professionals.

Deadline: 6pm Sunday 30th November.

Proposals Accepted for Library Fellowship with the PhotoIreland Collection

Upcoming Deadline: Library Fellowship with the PhotoIreland Collection

PhotoIreland is launching a new fellowship programme to invite individuals to engage with and mediate the PhotoIreland Collection housed at the International Centre for the Image. The opportunity is open annually to two individuals who will receive a fee and will benefit from access to the facilities as well as guidance from the PhotoIreland team. The recipients are requested to produce a public outcome following the conclusion of the fellowship, which will be defined and created in collaboration with the Centre’s curatorial team. The opportunity is open to applications from artists, researchers, curators, or other cultural practitioners.

Submissions Deadline: 5pm Friday 28 November 2025
