Dear friends,
A few updates from my side.
After my exhibition at Circulations in Paris, I finally updated my website - and this time it finally shows the arc clearly: my earlier practice as a newcomer in Berlin, a conscious shift around 2016, the pandemic, going back to study, the making of Alltagsfantasie, and expanding towards urban practice, socio-cultural contexts, and participatory work. The transformation is now much more visible. If you're curious about the journey, now is a good moment to look. → www.joannaszproch.com |

| | I'll be in Arles from July 6–12 for Les Rencontres de la Photographie and the Arles Books Fair, presenting Alltagsfantasie, published by André Frère Éditions.
On Saturday, July 11, 6:30–7:30 PM, join me for a book signing at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie. This time I'm coming with my daughter, Lena — and we have a few things planned: everyone who stops by will receive a DIY zine, and Lena will be applying henna tattoos with the star motif from the book.
You can also win a set that includes an Alltasfantasie tote bag, a 3D postcard, a special sticker, and a glow-in-the-dark rosary.
Come say hello. 📍 École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie, 16 Rue des Arènes, Arles |

Bildräume der Solidarität is still on at Villa Heike in Berlin until July 25. The exhibition brings together 32 artistic positions asking urgent questions: where do people stand up for one another? When does an expression of solidarity actually become solidarity in action?
I'm part of it with Gemeinsam Anders Sein, a participatory photographic project created with girls aged 9–12 from Gropiusstadt. After a wonderful opening and artist tour, there is still time to visit.

THE BOOK Alltagsfantasie is also available online. Something you can hold, return to, and spend time with — not an image on a screen, but an object. A small, tactile piece of my universe you can take with you.
See you in Arles!
