This Saturday, 22 November, we will release the new edition of 1605 Magazine. It is already the third time we bring this magazine into the world and it still feels special. Every year it grows a little, not in size but in depth. It has become a space where artists, designers and architects meet.
I started 1605 Collective as a place where art, design and architecture could meet in a clear and intentional way. As founder, my goal was to build a platform that stays independent and close to the artists we admire. A platform where printed objects still have weight and where ideas get the space they deserve. What began as a small publishing project has grown into a home for books, bookstands and this magazine, which has become the core of 1605 Collective. The full design of this new issue is created by Janneke Schrey, whose precision and sensitivity shape the magazine in a way that feels aligned with our vision. We make this magazine with a lot of love. Love for art, design and thoughtful creation. There are no advertisers, no sponsors, no commercial pressure. It exists because people like you support it. That support means a lot to us. It keeps the magazine honest and independent.  This new edition holds many new names, people who inspire us in different ways. It is a magazine you can sit with for a while. A quiet object that asks you to slow down and look again. The pre order is still open and shipments will begin on 24 November.
