In December I will take over a large booth at Masters Expo in Amsterdam. It runs from 11 to 15 December, and it feels like an important moment in my career. I will show a new body of work, including pieces that have never been seen before. A significant part of the presentation focuses on the ten year collaboration with Tinotenda. Ten years of building images together, learning from each other and shaping a visual language that has grown slowly over time. For this new series I went back into the archive. I looked at the photographs that defined our journey and revisited them with fresh eyes. Some of the iconic images have been reinterpreted and transformed, while other works have remained hidden until now. All of it comes from the past fifteen years of experimenting, refining and staying curious. It is also the first time I present something this extensive entirely on my own as an artist at a major fair. This happens in collaboration with Masters Expo. They published a long interview in the new edition of Masters Magazine, together with a new shoot of Tinotenda. The magazine will be launched in the booth during the fair. A small note from me about the collaboration with Tinotenda:
If you are in Amsterdam that week, I would love for you to visit. It is the first place where all this new work will be shown. The booth covers almost sixty square meters and you can find it at stand H12 1550. If you want a moment to walk through the work with me, let me know and I will make sure we find a time.
