The trees surrounding my home in Tennessee are blossoming. So I decided to send an update from my studio to signal the end of a long winter.
I’ve spent the last few months working on a new book to be published later this year, Ain't No Grave Gonna Hold My Body Down.
I’m also preparing for exhibitions of this work in New York, Ohio, and Switzerland; all three shows will open this fall. I’ve been building exhibition models, thinking through sequencing, space, and the different narrative possibilities that emerge when the work shifts form.
I’ll have more details about the book and exhibitions soon. In the meantime, I wanted to share some recent assignments, an exhibition I curated, a podcast interview, and a website update with previews of three new projects.
