Alfa Gallery presents “Liminal: Group Show”, an exhibition that refuses neutrality.
These works are not polite they vibrate, fracture, and insist on being felt.
They occupy the unstable edge where gesture becomes matter, where objects unlearn their function, and where memory dissolves into pure sensation.
This is not an exhibition about harmony. It is about dissonance as a generative force.
The artists gathered here use sculpture, painting, and installation as weapons against complacency, dismantling the safe distance between viewer and artwork.
Alfa Gallery, true to its artist-run spirit, resists the market’s hunger for predictability. Instead, it offers a space where art is not ornamental but insurgent where collectors are asked to participate in a risk, not simply in an acquisition. The works on view operate as open systems, restless and alive, demanding engagement rather than passive admiration.
Opening September 7 in Miami, “Liminal: Group Show” stages a rehearsal for possible futures that are porous, unstable, and luminous. To encounter these works is to inhabit a threshold: between material and immaterial, between what is seen and what refuses to be contained.
This exhibition does not decorate a wall. It declares itself as an act.
