Ritual of Shapes — Alzueta Gallery, BarcelonaIn early 2026, I will present a new solo exhibition titled Ritual of Shapes at the Alzueta Gallery in Barcelona. The exhibition will bring together works developed through a long, concentrated process with a strong focus on my ten-year collaboration with Tinotenda.
Rather than revisiting the past, the works extend an existing visual language. Images from the archive were revisited and reworked not to repeat what already exists but to carry that shared history forward with a renewed perspective. Alongside these pieces, the exhibition includes photographs made years ago that were deliberately held back and are now being released as part of a broader reflection on continuity, restraint, and evolution. “Ritual of Shapes” will be on view January 29 to March 7, 2026 at Alzueta Gallery Barcelona Turó (C/ Josep Bertrand, 3, 08021 Barcelona). The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Masters ExpoI look back on my participation in the Masters Expo in Amsterdam last December with gratitude. It meant a lot to present my work in this setting and collaborate with the Masters Expo team.
Special thanks to Masters Magazine for the feature and interview and for showcasing the new series I shot with Tinotenda, which became a central part of the magazine. I’m grateful to everyone behind the scenes, especially the people who visited the fair. And especially to those who chose to purchase a piece of art. It never feels ordinary when someone decides to live with an image and give it a permanent place in their home to return to day after day. I look forward to welcoming many of you into the new year and, hopefully, into the studio in Alkmaar as well. Rhythm: Cover Carlos (Final Copies)We currently have a limited number of copies of Rhythm, Cover Carlos available via 1605 Collective. Once this edition sells out, it will not be reprinted. This year, I will focus on working on a new overview book, which will make Rhythm part of a closed chapter within the publication history.

I’m introducing a new piece titled Floret. It is currently available in two formats. There is an edition of ten in 90 x 120 cm and an XL edition of three in 135 x 180 cm. Floret was shown for the first time during Masters Expo and has already sold multiple times. The response from collectors has been strong, and the work has proven to be in high demand. Given the limited editions and existing interest, it’s likely that this work will sell out soon. If you’re interested, please reply directly to this email.
