So far I am really happy with the phone but this problem annoys me. Everytime I am listening to Spotify on the car/headphones or just on the phone and I want to listen to a voice note, the music on spotify doesn't pause but lowers its volume which makes it incredibly hard to hear the voice note. That's really annoying! iPhone just paused the music, played the voice note and resumed the music when voice note is over.
Also, when I record a voice note and receive messages, the sound keeps coming and my voice notes are full of ringtones in the middle. This also didn't happen on iPhone and I find it really annoying, not to mention useless. Why would someone want a ringtone in the middle of their voice note? Even worse for the person receiving the voice note.
Hi Bratnesti, thanks for the reply. It also happens when I'm connected to my headphones. The volume of the music lowers and plays the voice note on top of the music which makes it impossible to understand the voice note.
Thanks for trying different solutions! I tried and I don't even have that option in the battery section. I have "Battery and device care" and inside it only the "Auto optimisation". Besides I managed to find battery optimisation for spotify, disabled it an nothing happened.
I also checked if this happens with the bluetooth disconnected, listening spotify on the mobile speaker, and same thing. Volume lowers when playing voice notes but not pausing. So it has nothing to do with the bluetooth; apparently is a Samsung/Android bug .
I'll keep trying options as it makes it almost impossible to listen voice notes and let you know if something works. Hard to believe Samsung missed this and people use their phones like this!
