I have HU8550, SEK 3500 set-up. Firmware 1453. Netflix app has been reinstalled. I still get the "cannot play title at this time" message on every title. Netflix works fine on all other devices in my house. Any ideas?
I get this problem all the time and I have the solution directly from Samsung. The reason they say this happens is that Netflix collects cookies in the TV and they told me how to clear the cookies. Unplug the TV wait 2 minutes exactly. While holding the power button on the remote plug the TV back on wait a minute for everything to boot up and connect to the internet and Netflix won't work I have to do this at least once a month and it works every time.
Was reading this thread thinking, hope this doesnt happen to my 32inch samsung....well it did approx 5 days ago...netflix started doing the 24-25% thing, then unable to play the movie....Im positive this occured post a firmware update of the TV....anyway, its not isolated to netflix, its the wireless software on the Samsung that is broken...It will connect after restarting the TV, but then slow down, and eventually disconnect from WAP, and you can only re-establish a wireless connection if you restart TV.
There is zero wrong with my wireless - I have 2 WAPS and 1 Wireless router....The Samsung TV has the same problem with all of them....all WAPS and router are approx 10 meters from TV - wireless reception is perfect.
Ive tried every combination of turn off/turn on(WAP/router/TV, tried resetting smarthub...you name it(Whats been suggested in this thread), Ive tried......This is a Samsung TV software issue(Wireless)...It has only occurred recently, so has to be due to the latest firmaware update...Samsung, take ownership of the issue, develop a fix, release a patched firmware asap.
Hopefully Samsung and Netflix will learn to play nice, I suspect Samsung is not following standards, but without source hard to tell. I could do a network capture, and see the request response, but I just want to binge watch imposters.

Same here. This has been going on over a week now, as well. The Apple TV+ app on my iPhone plays perfectly. Every other app on my Samsung smart TV plays perfectly. But Apple TV+ will not play on my Samsung smart TV for some reason. Has anyone found a fix for this?
Update..finally had a Cox technician research the problem. It took him about 15 minutes of research. He found that Samsung has a setting that has to be changed. He fixed the issue, after that there were no more problems. He never explained what it was.
Were you finally able to find a solution to this issue? The same happens to me. All streaming apps like Netflix and Disney work perfectly. I have a 300 MB Internet connection, but Apple tv is too slow.
My fix prior to using a hammer on the apple box :) was simply moving it to another TV, I plugged it into a LG TV and it paired perfectly as remote and all apps worked fine. I've had issues with it the Samsung tv and apple box since I got it. I would unplug apple box and it'd work properly for a while last week it quite pairing with tv, NAD receiver and soundbar. Before I had a complete meltdown just swiped with a Roku 4k I had in bedroom and all is right in the world. Im a completely Apple, home, phone, watch, Mac love them all not a computer genius but love the safety and security of Apple products. The Apple TV 4K 3rd generation etc. is my option the least intuitive device from set up to daily operations I've ever had. It will be safe(from the hammer)as a device for bedroom TV.
Installed the 3 pack M4 few days ago and everything seems fine except one, extremely annoying, thing: Netflix on a Samsung smart TV stops streaming after 5 minutes from when I hit the play button on the remote. I get a tvq-pb-101 (3.1.-82) error code, which means you'll need to disconnect the TV from power in order to resolve this.
Youtube and all other content of TV don't have any problem. Even after Netflix stops, I can switch to Youtube and stream there. TV also indicates it's connected to the network while Netflix stopped working.
The system is in router (not AP) mode, and that's about all I know regarding configuration.
Please help!
