Seven people attended Tuesday's meeting: Phil, Jerry, Gary, Norm,
myself, and two Johns. (Only one of the Johns was at June's meeting.)
We talked about some of the machines that were brought to Wired
Coffee: some Nokia 800 handheld Internet tablets, a HP dv7 2040 US
Quad core laptop, and an Asus Eee PC among them. The WiFi at Wired
Coffee was running fast and I had a great opportunity to add some new
software to my notebook with "apt-get". I just love those Debian based
systems!
Some time was spent solving a few problems - WiFi access for one
machine, partitioning issues with another, recompiling 2.6.28.9
without KVM, etc. Just your typical fun night of hacking! :)
Final note - the Chicken Ceasar Wrap and Mint Green Tea at Wired
Coffee was great! (As was the service by the ladies who run the
place.)
