to MOSLUG
Last night was my second time of actually attending a MOSLUG meeting.
(The first time was back when we met at Culpepper's in Kirkwood. At
Wired Coffee, it is closer to my home as I live in Hillsboro, but its
still a long drive.)
Attending were four people - Phil, myself, and two Johns. We had a
great time discussing HP computers running Ubuntu Linux, the Android
G1 cell phone, solid state "disks" (aka SSD), and played with the
various Linux "ls" commands (lspci, lsusb, lshw, etc.)
I'm looking forward to next month's meeting. Wired Coffee was a bit
tough to find as it doesn't face directly at Lindbergh Blvd. but is at
an angle making the name difficult to see when driving at it from
North to South, but it was worth finding! The coffee was great, the
ladies who worked there were friendly, and the conversation made the
time pass quickly. But most of all, I learned things from the guys who
came there, and that was priceless! :)
