Androiddevices should not be defragmented. Defragmenting an Android device will not lead to any performance gains, as flash memory is not affected by fragmentation. Defragmenting a flash drive (like the one Android devices use) will actually shorten its lifespan. If your Android phone or tablet is performing poorly, there are several steps you can take to try to increase performance.
The best Android phones all start off running smoothly and responding instantly to every tap, but over time, even the fastest device will start to show its age. And with something you use as much as your smartphone, every missed swipe or extra moment waiting for an app to load can feel like an eternity.
With about 90 percent of Android users sticking with the Chrome browser, you might want to know how to speed up browsing. While Google has done away with the Data Saver/Lite Mode option, there's still an option to speed things up a little.
Upgrade Chrome to Extended Preloading and it'll preload web pages faster. It tries to predict what you're going to use and preloads it. Turning it on is simple, but it might use more background data than the default settings.

That looks completely bogus to me. Unless someone is that CDO about where their files are on their phone and that person wants them all together for some reason, then I could see them using it. Otherwise there is no way this would make your phone any faster.
An SSD can read data randomly just as fast as it can read sequential data, this is nonsense. Russell_W is correct, the Trim command is the only thing that may increase performance (at the cost of garbage collection, the SSD equivalent to defragging).
Remember that defragmentation of the Android smartphone will not increase speed, organize scattered files or free up space. While PCs need defragmentation to boost their speed, the same does not apply to cell phones.
Do you want to know how to defrag storage on an Android Smartphone? In that case, there are two distinct methods you can try. Firstly, you can opt for the factory reset option. It will completely restore the device to its original state. That means the process will remove all the data available on the device.
Here, you need to understand one fundamental thing. None of these methods will reorganize the scattered files on the drive. Moreover, it will also not increase or clean up space. The only help you will get is the organization of the data by placing small fragments in large groups.
That will make it easy for the device to access different files. Fragmented data is indeed challenging to find and read for the device. As a result, even a simple task like browsing the web can become problematic for the Android smartphone.
Since Android smartphones use flash memory, defragmentation is not needed. And if you use these two methods, there will be minimal impact on the performance and speed. In return, you will boost the efficiency of the device.
For instance, try rebooting the device. Though simple, this is one of the most effective ways to resolve multiple problems simultaneously. All you have to do is hold the power button till you come across a list of options. From there, press the Restart option. It will automatically shut down the system and turn it on after a few seconds.
Another excellent solution is to clean the Android smartphone. The presence of junk or leftover junk from uninstalled apps can slow down the system. It would help if you got rid of apps you no longer use. After that, organize the home screen and customize the system. Remove anything that occupies space and is yet unuseful.
Now, you need to clean the Android smartphone. For that, click on the Settings app. Now, press the Clear Data option. After that, click on All Apps. Here, it would help if you chose Clear Cache and Clear Data options. That will clean the phone.
As many Windows users know, defragmenting a hard drive can lead to a boost in speed and performance. Defragmenting takes all of the fragmented files on your hard drive and moves them closer together to ensure that they can be found as quickly as possible.
Some app programmers have decided to bring defragmentation tools to the Android community. But does defragmenting Android actually do anything? Or is it just an over-hyped way to speed up your device?

Defragmentation is a process designed to increase access speed by rearranging files stored on a disk to occupy contiguous storage locations. It also boosts the allocation speed for new files, as allocating contiguous disk sectors requires less operations.

I try very hard to convince users linux is the answer and solution for them, but its a loosing battle, despite of them having android phones or cars with the linux automotive solution they all think command line or difficult to use. They then buy windows 11 and hate it but its windows !
Never use them today. I have no idea if it would help. Linux and BSD seem to survive without such things today. Most distros do a regular fsck on the root filesystem, some at every boot, some at intervals. Some distros require manual cleaning out of old kernels. There used to be a need for cleaning out old logfiles (eg cat /dev/null > wtmp) but that need seems to have disappeared.
Android has a cleaning procedure in Settings.
I had a linux user in last week who insisted on just turning off his linux box never shutting down correctly, despite me telling him. The end result was files not closing and so updates would not run had to file system check and repair the apt get before it would work
I agree Kaspersky is well known but I believe the owners are Russian, hence it would not normally be on my own list. Not being racist it more a question of security on my part, similar with Chinese software tools.
I looked at surkshark and the linux info page, it talks about vpn connection but nothing on cleaning your system. At this stage no use for vpn although i have several clients who use if to watch foreign tv channels, we dont use our tv.
