Moses-for-Mere-Mortals was passed to the main Moses development team and there's some uncertainty of who, if anyone, will continue developing MMM. Precision Translation Tools just released a similar free open source project called DoMY CE. I invite everyone to check our new website for more details: http://www.precisiontranslationtools.com

Because MMM and DoMY share the same goals, and because of the uncertainty surrounding the future of MMM, we also created a MMM users' support forum. The two projects take different approaches and each currently has featurs the other is missing. MMM is almost pure Bash shell scripts, while DoMY is migrating from Bash to multi-platform Python.

As we continue our DoMY development, we will migrate MMM features directly into our free community edition of DoMY. Also, all functionality will eventually be available on both Linux and MS Windows (except Linux-only binaries). Our DoMY roadmap includes adding a GUI to all versions.

We'd like to hear from you on our MMM Users' Forum. Current users' comments and requests will help prioritize our future development of all DoMY products. Thanks.

hi tom

good to see people are working on 'greater moses' projects.

I don't know the status of MMM either. However, I personally would like
some user-friendly moses which is maintained to be part of the main
moses project. If you ever want to add DoMY to trunk, you're free to do so.
