I have a problem building moses2

Hello,


I have successfully built moses r46 from here:

http://moses.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/moses

However, I cannot build moses2 from here:

http://moses.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/moses2

Makefile.teslib references a non-existant file: test/run_tests.cc

Any advice out there on how to proceed?

Hi,

My guess is that you are missing cxxtest (http://cxxtest.tigris.org/),
which is used to generate the test/run_tests.cc - specifically, you
need to have cxxtestgen.pl somewhere in you path. Let me know if this
doesn't work...

P.S. With any luck there will be two new moses-related codebases
released open-source in the next few weeks - one in C++ (based on
MOSES2) and my new one in Common Lisp (incomplete but under active
development by me). Please note that the current moses2 codebase is
woefully incomplete...

Ok, yes that's it. It was complaining about not having
cxxtestgen.pl. Thanks Moshe!
