Hello,

I have downloaded the trial version of Mosek and have saved the license file 'mosek.lic' I received through email in the folder called 'Mosek'. The folder is in the directory I am currently working in MATLAB.  I am working with the RAVEN toolbox for metabolic modeling of biochemical reactions.

The error I get is like so:

sol=solveLP(model)
??? Error using ==> checkSolution at 20
The Mosek licence file is missing

Any help is greatly appreciated.

First, you need to follow the installation guides:

After the license file has been installed as described in the installation guide, try the Matlab toolbox again.
Make sure you followed the path configuration as described in the MOSEK Matlab toolbox documentation:

If there is still a problem, you can run the Matlab script 'mosekdiag' and send us the screen output.

I followed the steps as mentioned. The screen output in Matlab came up as this :-

>> mosekdiag

Yes I have installed the license file in the folder for Mosek.  I have attached the screenshot.

But I still receive the error.

Just follow the installation instructions:

In your case, the license file shuld be in:
C:\Users\Dell\mosek\mosek.lic

Hi Maziya,

i am trying to use RAVEN toolbox for metabolic network modelling. i manage to successfully install the RAVEN toolbox and mosek and libsbml. now i want to run the tutorial script that comes with the toolbox but it gives error such as e.g
if i run the script SBMLfromexcel, it says the function definitions are not permitted in this context.
Also when i run tutorial1.m it says undefined function 'importexcelmodel for input arguments of type char

Hi,
I am sorry but your questions are out of topic for the MOSEK user group. I suggest you to post them in a RAVEN related forum or contact RAVEN support team.

You have not installed a license file or not installed it correctly..
