Dear OBs and OGs, with sadness, I would like to inform you of the passing of my OB and class mate for all the years I have been in Mvara Secondary School - Mr. Patrick Asiku Abura. He passed away this morning from Mulago Hospital having struggled with Sugar Diabetes for a while. Patrick - a language and literature teacher has been very passionate about education standards in Mvara S S and the entire West Nile region. At the time of his death, he was a teacher in St. Marys Namagunga.

We shall surely miss him and all his efforts in our endevours. May God grant him eternal rest.

Details of funeral arrangements will be communicated to the members as soon as they are concluded. Thanks and kind regards,

Sam Ejibua

This is so sad to hear. This was one man who was so passionate about the things he set out to do.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

So sad to hear about the loss of our brother Patrick.
The Lord gives and takes and a very hard reality for us to embrace because we are human but lets Pray for the family and be of encouragement and support.

Good morning MOSA

I am making a plea to us the MOSA members to support the family of Asiku Patrick Abura who passed on the previous day as communicated by Sam.

We have been made to understand that the school where he taught contributed UGX 300,000 and UNATU also raised UGX 300,000 totaling to UGX 600,000. It is this money that was used to buy the coffin and treat the body.

The relatives and some close family members negotiated a Costa mini bus to carry the body and some mourners to Arua at a cost of UGX 1,500,000, but of this, UGX 800,000 was given as a down payment since this was the only money that we the OB's and a few other friends had contributed.

Can we, in our usual spirit, stand with the family and contribute whatever we can to at least cover the transport cost? Anguzu David Ezati is the person who is receiving the condolences contributions. He can be reached on phone numbers 0782966623 or 0702922220

Update on the burial arrangement

The mourners reached Arua safely this morning. The body of the deceased will be laid to rest at their home at Ombokoro, about 1 km along the road to Ombokoro Primary School in Oluko Sub County the following day, with church service commencing at 1 pm.

Regards

David
