Once each year, on Labor Day Weekend, over 200 like-minded Jewish outdoor enthusiasts gather for a weekend full of fun and adventure. This year, we have been going out of our way to invite all Jewish outdoor enthusiasts; Not just Mosaic members. Mosaic Outdoor Clubs of America is partnering with many other Jewish organizations to publicize this event to adventurous Jews from across the US, Canada, and beyond.

This year's four-day Mosaic International Outdoor Event will take place in Simi Valley, at the magnificent Brandeis-Bardin Institute just outside Malibu, CA. on Labor Day Weekend, Sept 4-7, 2009. The camp is located on 3,000 acres, America's largest area designated for Jewish communal purpose.
In addition to the main event, Mosaic is offering four unique pre-trip adventure options including Channel Islands Campout & Kayaking, Ventura Harbor Resort & Waterfront Excursion, and Los Angeles Sightseeing tour. All of these will run Wednesday to Friday, Sept 2-4. In addition, a group will be arriving in San Francisco on Saturday, Aug 29, to spend a week driving down the Pacific Coast Highway before the main event.
Hundreds of Jewish singles and couples from North America are expected to attend. The event is open to participants of all ability levels.
Regular registration is now open, and the cost of $299 includes accommodations, all meals, and most activities at the Brandeis-Bardin base camp. The event will offer everything from hiking to horseback riding and seminars such as organic gardening and Israeli dancing.
