MOSAIC OUTDOORS CLUB OF GREATER LOS ANGELES
2010 is in full swing and promises to be our best year yet in out door adventure. So far we already had many beautiful hikes throughout the LA area including Malibu, Agoura, Santa Clarita and Orange County and many more are in the works. While the planning, organizing and the activities are done by volunteers, items like the website, national Mosaic dues and other administrative costs are not. So we urge those who have not renewed or joined this vibrant Jewish organization yet, to submit your annual dues today! Annual Membership is $15.
We offer 3 convenient ways to join:

· Discounted member rates to fee based Mosaic LA events;
· Opportunity to participate at discounted member rates in events sponsored by other Mosaic clubs

· Discounted member rates to attend Mosaic Outdoor Clubs of America events, such as the Annual
International Event;

Social Benefits

Leadership Skills
- Enhance your leadership skills by volunteering to organize activities;
- Attend Members’ Meetings where you can have a voice in running your club, Mosaic LA;

- Help Mosaic LA meet its tax exempt purpose of providing outdoor social and recreational activities in a Jewish context;

Environmental Awareness
- Learn and exchange knowledge of the outdoors;

Of course, people will still be able to participate in Mosaic LA activities and events without becoming a member. However, your membership fees help Mosaic LA defray the costs involved in running the organization; expenses such as administrative costs, legal, and web presence. Your dues also help Mosaic LA to pay for necessary equipment, and allow us the opportunity to grow and enhance our services to the community and to YOU!

Mosaic LA is all of us and we are only as strong as each and every one of us! We are a non-profit, volunteer-led, member-driven organization! We are always looking for new trails to explore, new places to go camping to, and/or an excuse to party, as well as new leaders. Being a Mosaic LA leader is A LOT of fun, as it gives you the opportunity to share your love of the outdoors with others and to meet lots of new Jewish people with a similar love and passion for nature.
