I now have the full details of the proposed awardees. However, I have a problem with one of them as highlighted below:
|
6 |
Exmay Ogutuga Oluwaseun |
7063 |
1987/93 |
Since I became MOSA president in 2013, this class set has not supported MOSA in any way. They have also not been paying annual dues over the years despite that they are very close to some sets that are represented on the Exco (1991, 1992 and 1994). In actual fact, their generation is practically controlling MOSA, yet they have remained financially irresponsible to the association.
I propose that this person should be replaced with Arc. Giwa Rilwan, a member of the 1965/69 set, the only class set in the 60s that fully paid the N1m levy. He did not score up to the 18 mark because he did not provide the required information.
1993 class set should prove their loyalty to MOSA first, and then represent their candidate for the 2018 awards.
Comments pls, I have to conclude today.

Its 83/88, they used 5 years.
You guys should have joined in September of 1988 but there was probably a disruption and delay.
New students are admitted in September, not January.

Subject: FW: MOSA MERIT AWARD NOMINEES RESULT
Good morning dear Exco members,
Pls find attached the report submitted by the MMA committee members.
After their review, 7 nominees have scored 18 while one scored 7.
Soweto has confirmed that Mrs. Ogutuga Oluseun will be attending the event, so we are constrained to give the awards to all 7 of them.
I will be announcing this to all Exmays shortly.
Pls, this document is an Exco document and on no account should it be sent outside the Exco as some of us are now a post-office to all Exmays.

Dear All,
Fairness should be fairness as the older class set has shown commitment and should be recognised. I am in support of the older Exmay (65/69 set) getting the award against the 87/93 set member.
