Good evening dear Class Set Chairmen,

Kindly recall that I had reached out to you earlier to inform you about the custom of celebrating class sets co-hosting the Exmays Time Out Party, a networking avenue for Exmays during the annual founders day celebration in January.

We started this initiative in January 2015 and it aims to create a platform for all Exmays to come together and network in a very conducive environment. It seeks to achieve efficiency and sharing of resources instead of each class set hosting its own anniversary party around town at the same time. We share resources such as venue, Music/DJ etc.

At the occasion, we host about 1,000 Exmays, by providing good music, drinks, food BBQ etc. However, very special provisions are made for the celebrating class sets who are sponsors of the event. At the time out party, the celebrating class sets sits in groups for ease of interaction.

This year’s event will hold at the same venue, The Citizens Hotel and Suite, Sagamu and due to the inflationary trend in the country, will cost us about N2.3million (i.e. an average of N2,300/Exmay). We are expecting 2 Nigerian Top Artistes while all Exmays shall be well taken care of.

We expect each of the celebrating sets to contribute a minimum amount of N350,000.00 towards actualizing this, while the balance will be offset by the Friends of MOSA and MOSA Excos. This occasion is not charged into the accounts of MOSA.

Preparations for this year’s event has started in earnest, and we therefore appeal that you send your class set’s contribution to the Social Secretary’s account as follows:

ACCOUNT NAME:            OYEFESO OLUWAKEMI

ACCOUNT NO:                   0011835782

BANK:                                   GTBANK

As a show of our transparency, a comprehensive account of all our expenses is always provided after the occasion.

Thanks and God bless.

Good afternoon my dear 1972 Class Set Chairman,

Kindly recall that I had reached out to you earlier to inform you about the custom of celebrating class sets co-hosting the Exmays Time Out Party, an event that holds on Saturday night of our founder’s day weekend. The event offers an avenue for Exmays to network and seek social and economic value from each other. This year’s event hold on Saturday January 28, at exactly 9pm at the Citizens Hotel, Sagamu.

We started this initiative in January 2015 and it aims to create a platform for all Exmays, irrespective of their age and social standing, to come together and network in a very conducive environment. It seeks to achieve efficiency and sharing of resources (instead of each class set hosting its own anniversary party around town at the same time). We share resources such as venue, Music/DJ, Security etc.

At the occasion, we host about 1,000 Exmays, by providing good music, drinks, food BBQ, conducive venue and security. However, special provisions are made for the celebrating class sets who are sponsors of the event. At the time out party, the celebrating class sets sits in clusters for ease of interaction.

Due to the inflationary trend in the country, the conservative cost of this outing is about N2.3million (i.e. an average of N2,300/Exmay). We are expecting 2 Nigerian Top Artistes, while all Exmays shall be well taken care of.

We expect each of the celebrating sets (1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997 and 2002) to contribute a minimum amount of N350,000.00 towards actualizing this, while the balance will be offset by the Friends of MOSA and MOSA Excos. The expenses for this occasion is not charged into the accounts of MOSA.

Preparations for this year’s event has started in earnest, and we therefore appeal that you send your class set’s contribution to the Social Secretary’s account as follows:

ACCOUNT NAME:            OYEFESO OLUWAKEMI

ACCOUNT NO:                   0011835782

BANK:                                   GTBANK

As a show of our transparency, a comprehensive account of all our expenses is always provided after the occasion.

Thanks and God bless.
