The HTC Magic will mark HTC's second Android phone release and is scheduled for launch in April exclusively to the European Vodafone network. The HTC Magic is expected to be alunched across the US on the T-Mobile network shortly after although to date there has been no official confirmation from T-Mobile US. Rumor: Acer A1 Android Phone Set For September Release Posted: 23 Mar 2009 06:52 AM PDT
According to an unknown source from the Taiwanese company, the handset will be known as the 'A1' and will be one of four Acer handsets that will make their debut in September.

Their about us page does make them seem fairly credible, but faced with news from unknown official sources, who knows? |

Orange France Launching 6 Android Phones Including HTC Hero Posted: 25 Mar 2009 04:52 AM PDT
French website Mobinaute have discovered that Orange France plan to launch six new Android powered handsets in 2009, including the HTC Hero which was revealed back in January by HTC's leaked 2009 line-up. According to the leaked information, the French Orange network will see Android powered handsets from Sony Ericsson, Motorola, LG, Samsung and HTC. Orange France already have one Android phone on their network, the HTC Dream (G1), and plan to follow that up with the launch of the HTC Hero. According to the unnamed source the HTC Hero release will be followed up a few weeks later by an HTC Android phone in a different form factor. Orange France have also confirmed to customers that the Android 'Cupcake' update will be made available to Dream owners in late April, with another 'major' update due in May.
