Interactive whiteboards are a powerful tool to maintain team engagement and focus during meetings. Even better, the Zoom app is available on smart whiteboards like theVibe Board. You can launch the app directly on your interactive whiteboard and then screen share to your remote team as you annotate, sketch, and take notes in real time.

I am creating demonstrations in macOS software, I want to annotate over them in real-time during a lecture or annotate over them after the fact. Actually, I realized that I can do the latter in Camtasia. So what I want is to annotate over a projected screen real time.

While not all of us have need to graffiti our screens by drawing on the desktop, and on those occasions you do you probably use a screenshot annotation tool like Shutter or take a screenshot and open it in The GIMP.

Screen recording sessions in Camtasia 9 can be educational and fun at the same time, but if you'd like to make your videos more informative and entertaining you should consider learning how to draw on the videos you are creating. Annotations can serve a whole spectrum of purposes from leaving funny comments for the viewers to adding vital information about the topic you are covering.

There are two ways you can draw on the footage you are producing, you can either do it while you are recording or after your video recording session is over. The first option can be a bit complicated if you are not entirely familiar with the software because you might end up looking for the shapes or a text box you want to add to your video a bit too long. We gathered all the information you might need if you want to enrich your videos with cool looking drawings.

You can draw arrows, circles, rectangles or eclipses, while you can also choose the pen tool if you would like to write or draw something. The ScreenDraw feature enables you to select the color of your drawings, while you can also set the size of the visual content you are adding by adjusting the width option. If for some reason you didn't like your illustration, press ctrl+z to undo the last action. All drawings created during the recording session are burned into the video and they can not be changed or removed after the session is over.

Recording and drawing simultaneously can put a certain amount of pressure on you because there is almost no room for errors. Unless you are broadcasting your stream live, a much better option is to add all the annotations and drawings during the post production. Once you've imported the video in the Camtasia 9 Video Editor you will see the editor's menu that offers options like Transitions, Animation or Voice Narration. Clicking on the Annotations tab will enable you to access sub-tabs and select the category you want to use. Double clicking the option you'd like to utilize will automatically add the drawing to the same position at which the Playhead is placed, while you can also drag the annotation to the desired location.

There are several annotation categories such as Callouts, Arrows and Lines, Shapes and Blur & Highlight. Callouts options enable the users to create speech bubbles, choose from a number of styles like Abstract or Bold or to add plain text annotations to an image. Without much effort, users can blur or pixelate portions of the images they don't want others to see, while Interactive Hotspot feature provides interactivity that allows you to include URLs into the MP4 video. Learning how to draw on screen in Camtasia 9 may take a little bit of time, but the results you will be able to achieve once you master this editing technique are worth the effort.

Camtasia may be a great screen capturing tool, but it is far from perfect. Alternative software like DemoCreator Recorder that is capable of producing stunning visual content might be a better choice for the users who are looking for a powerful and cost-effective screen recording software. If you would like to draw on the videos you captured with DemoCreator Recorder you can easily do so with just a few simple steps.

You can choose between plain text boxes, lines, arrows and a vast number of different shapes. Drag and drop the desired effect onto the track below the video clip and adjust the duration of the effect by stretching it. The timeline enables you to see the duration of the annotation you added and if you'd like to remove the effect right-click on the effect you want to remove and select delete. DemoCreator Recorder is reliable screen capturing software that allows you to add annotations that will improve the quality of your videos.

Zoom includes a built-in collaborative digital whiteboard that an instructor and students can draw on together in real-time. It works with a mouse, touchpad, or touch screen on most devices (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iPad, but NOT iPhone). This is sufficient for simple drawing or writing.

However, instructors who desire a more high-fidelity solution, for more intricate drawing and handwriting, may benefit from using an iPad and Apple Pencil with Zoom or other presentation software such as PowerPoint. This solution can replicate drawing complex figures on a classroom whiteboard or annotating over a slide presentation.

Join a Zoom meeting from an iPad and screen share the iPad to the Zoom meeting. Zoom for iPad has a built-in whiteboarding feature that works seamlessly with the Apple Pencil. You can start drawing on the shared whiteboard and everyone in the Zoom meeting can see it.

Alternatively, you can open your PowerPoint or Keynote presentation on the iPad, then screen-share that to Zoom. Both PowerPoint and Keynote on the iPad have drawing and annotation tools built-in so you can draw over your slides and save those annotations if desired. Google Slides does not support drawing or annotation on the iPad.

This is what it looks like if the code draws directly to the front buffer, and is also the exact same size and pattern as the glitch when double buffering (Just that the screen is predominantly blue with the coloured glitches visible). The color is also solid red (on a more expensive camera, the pink is just my phone not being ideal.

How can that be done? I wont to implement deferred shading and to do that I need to render a quad that are covered with a texture. How can I make the quad cover the whole screen even when I move the camera around?

ScreenPal gives you the flexibility to use the record and pause button. You can draw and record a portion of your video. You can also pause anytime. This gives you the time you need to draw on your screen and get it ready before hitting record again.

I am using ESRI silverlight. I have graphic objects on the screen and each graphic object has an attached silverlight label. What I want to do is to have each label shown at a fixed screen (pixel) distance from graphic object. This seems not possible as esri draws the labels according to the envelope given in map coordinates.

You can add the labels manually using TextBlocks to the same panel as the map. You might need to set the Canvas.Top, Canvas.Left, and Canvas.ZIndex. Remember all panels inherit from Canvas. Just iterate over each of the graphics in your collection and use the MapToScreen method on the map object to convert a vertice's MapPoint into a screen coordinate.
