you're right about the left plot, which shows cell type 'ct1' in red and 'ct2' in yellow. As for the other two plots, the colors don't refer to the cell types, but to some topological properties of each cell. First, in the middle, there is a value given for every cell that indicates the number of neighbors of the other cell type. And on the right, not the number of cells is summarized, but the length of all contacts of a cell to neighboring cells of a different type.
