2. You may restrict CellDivison to a spatial subdomain that can only harbor a maximum number of cells by triggering ChangeCellType outside the subdomain using a Condition with cell.center.x, cell.center.y etc.
3. Your decaying proliferation rate may be an explicit function of time.
4. Proliferating cells may be coupled by a common resource dependence and that may regulate differentiation rate or apoptosis as function of celltype.stem_cell.size
5. The proliferation rate of individual stem cells may be a function of the stem cell number to account for a common resource dependenc. This is demonstrated in a new demo model:
