Hi developers,

Thank you for developing this wonderful software!

I'm trying to have a CPM, where I have multiple cells, and then I defined a field, that has environmental signals. This environmental signal goes to the ODE model for each cell, and the cell can use protrusion plugin to move forward.

However, my simulation results (logger.csv s1 column) show that all cells have the same/similar level of the signal, which didn't reflect the diffusion field. Could you help me with this? My model is as attached, the signal is s1. If performed as expected, then the peripheral cells have higher b, and in the middle is more random.

Thank you and have a good day!

Best,
Huijing

HI Huijin,

The CPM is a little sensitive to extreme values so I had to adjust some parameters slightly:

* The Surface constraint targets were too extreme such that I fixed the cell aspherity to 1 since I did not get the intention of parameter b.

* CPM's ShapeSurface Neighborhood to optimal 3rd order

* Introduced Property "cell.s1" the represents the average s1 of the area occupied by the cell. It is assigned via the Mapper construct. This per cell parameter is now logged and looks great.

Good luck and best regards,

Joern
