Hello Morpheus Users

I'm new to Morpheus and can't figure out how to write a single space derivative (\partial u / \partial x) in the differential equation expression input section. I've tried typing du/dx, du/dspace.x, and u', but none of these have worked. I'm trying to simulate a PDE of the form du/dt+du/dx=0.

Thanks for your help!

Hello,

we would like to do this ourselves but are still working on an implementation together with more performant PDE solvers.

As of now, Morpheus is simulating (systems of) reaction-diffusion PDEs for which you give the reaction part in a System and the diffusion constants as attributes to the field variables. You will have seen the models in Example/PDE.

Sorry that we cannot help with advection in PDEs yet.

Best,
Lutz
