Hi All !
On behalf of Lorna, who is the brain behind the KARAMOJA FASHION POLICE NIGHT, I am making some publicity for this event coming Saturday 29th September !!
The venue will be the well known Mt Moroto hotel, and doors open at 7.00 pm.
EXTRA’s to this crazy, amazing and entertaining night are: COMEDY by Mzee G and a spectacular PERFORMANCE (?) by Lady Comfort (don’t ask me J ). There is Live entertainment and dance to the early hours to great sounds of the best DJs in town !!! So what are you waiting for??!!
Dress code: anything creative, traditional, party, old school, or whatever you feel comfortable in. BUT be creative, because there are prizes to be won for the best dressed man and woman !!
The entrance fee is a small 20,000 UGX (and includes 2 beers, or 3 sodas!!)
Please let me know if you want a ticket before tomorrow afternoon (Thursday).
What else are you doing on Saturday anyway?

Hahahaha! Did they see your signature?
Dear Friends
I am sorry that I will be missing the Karamoja fashion Police Night, but well done to Lorne, Tine and the crew and I hope you have a brilliant and successful time! I am sad to miss it and this made me think when I saw Lilu’s response. If any of the Moroto missives gang are in Kampala this weekend, then you are all welcome to my house – not far from Kaazi Sailing club – for a rooftop BBQ on Sunday afternoon/evening – perhaps from 5pm?
(Before this I will be at the sailing club if anyone fancies a sail out on the lake).
The Kampala house is not as well stocked as the Moroto one and so please let me know if you – plus friends/family - are likely to come, so that I can make sure I have enough food. If you can bring some drinks that would be great J... my fridge is very small to store a lot of cold beers.
For those in Moroto... make sure you buy your tickets for Saturday night and have a great time!
Cheers
Ali

Dear Lilu
Glad you can come and anytime after 5 is fine, although it is nice to arrive before the sun sets. Happy Birthday to Paul and I am sure Anna can arrange a return surprise party for Poul, presuming he is not on this MM??!!
Happy moving!!
Perhaps a Kampala Missives Group is in order as more and more Moroto missives defect. Maybe I’ll make the group after I finish downloading something on fast internet, or after I finish my ice cream or after I watch a movie at the cinema.
Hope you’re well friends.

I know.... but at times it is struggle being stuck in the city and trying to decide what delights to try next. Good for the Moroto friends to know there is still another world out there..... just a 10 hour drive away L Ali
