Volunteers needed for Easter Egg Hunt April 7

Just a quick note to let you guys know about an outreach event that
could really use some volunteers. Shannon and I helped out at this
event last year and it was so much fun, and the kids just have a blast
searching for eggs on the MPC lawn. Unfortunately we're out of town
this Easter, but if you are around and have that Saturday morning
free, please consider helping out for an hour or so -- Jen's contact
info is at the end of this email.

Hi,
WE NEED YOUR HELP! Volunteers are needed for the upcoming annual
Morningside Presbyterian Church Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 7th,
Activities at 10:45am and Egg Hunt at 11am.

This is our largest Outreach Event to the community and we hope that
you will consider volunteering for this fun (and short) event. Come
enjoy “the running of the eggs”, Reuben Haller (‘Ruby the Clown’) as
‘The Easter Bunny’, face-painting and Easter cookies/masks.

26 Volunteers are needed in 2 shifts: Need 5 more 1st shift and Need
12 for 2nd shift!
1st shift: 10 for Egg hiding (9:30-10:30am), 2 for Tent set-up
(9:30-10:30am), 2 for Event set-up (9:30-10:30am).
2nd shift: 12 for Event (10:30-11:45am) / 6 for Clean-up crew
(11:45am-12:15pm).

We are also looking for Filled-Egg donations. Plastic eggs filled
with chocolate eggs (and/or small kid toys). If you’d like to donate
Filled-Eggs, please sign up at MPC. Please drop off at MPC by Sunday,
April 1st .

We would love your help in this very fun Outreach Event…We can’t make
this happen without our wonderful volunteers!
