See attached.

I understand we use two hyphens ("--") to symbolize em-dashes. Would it be appropriate to just use a single hyphen ("-") when used between scripture citations? Below is what was OCR'ed/editted:

"And they are they which testify of me.-- John, v, 19--23, 36--39."

So I'd like to know if we can make it look like this:

"And they are they which testify of me.-- John, v, 19-23, 36-39."

Minor change, but just wanna check for standardization's sake.

Some of the books (Mediation and Atonement, mainly) use em-dashes for scripture verse ranges, which is typographically incorrect (en-dashes should be used, which in plain text would be a single hyphen). At first I figured we'd keep it the way the text does it, but I'm thinking this falls under the category of typos we can (and should) fix.

So, yes, please make sure that verse ranges only have a single hyphen. (I'll also check for these in post.) I'll add this to the guidelines (along with a number of other changes we need to make).

I've used emdashes in the pages I've done, to match the text, so they'll need to be corrected in post.

Hopefully its as easy as a regexp substitution.

Same here, I've been keeping the emdashes in.

That's fine -- it's really easy to fix them.

Thanks,
Ben
