The TWR-56F8257 module is a demonstration and development tool for the NXP MC56F8257 DSCs. Ideally suited for motor control applications, it can be combined and used with several peripheral modules in the Tower System, including the TWR-MC-LV3PH motor control module or be operated as a standalone tool. It can also be used as the main control board with an APMOTOR56F8000E motor control board.
8251. The board shall enforce the provisions of this part, exceptin so far as duties and powers are vested in the Controller, and mayprescribe, adopt, and enforce rules and regulations relating to theadministration and enforcement of this part. The board may prescribethe extent to which any ruling or regulation shall be appliedwithout retroactive effect.8252. The board may employ attorneys, accountants, auditors,investigators, and other expert and clerical assistance necessary toenforce its powers and perform its duties under this part.8253. The board may make any examinations of the books and recordsof highway vehicle operators/fuelers, industrial users, pipelineoperators, suppliers, train operators, or vessel operators, and anyother investigations as it may deem necessary in carrying out theprovisions of this part.8254. As this State is the source of petroleum products for otherStates, if such examination or investigation necessitatescollaboration or conference with motor vehicle fuel tax officials ofother States, at places inside or outside this State, suchcollaboration or conference is declared to be a necessary function inthe administration of this part.8255. (a) Upon request from the officials to whom is entrusted theenforcement of the motor fuel tax law of another government the boardor the Controller may furnish to such officials such information inthe possession of the board or the Controller which is deemedessential to the enforcement of the motor fuel tax laws. Any information so furnished shall not be used for any purposeother than that for which it was furnished. (b) The board may furnish to any state or federal agencyinvestigating violations of or enforcing any state or federal lawrelated to motor fuels any motor fuel information in the possessionof the board that is deemed necessary for the enforcement of thoselaws.8256. A certificate by the board or an employee of the boardstating that a notice required by this part was given by mailing orpersonal service shall be prima facie evidence in any administrativeor judicial proceeding of the fact and regularity of the mailing orpersonal service in accordance with any requirement of this part forthe giving of a notice. Unless otherwise specifically required, anynotice provided by this part to be mailed or served may be giveneither by mailing or by personal service in the manner provided forgiving notice of a deficiency determination.8257. (a) Except as otherwise provided by law, any person who isengaged in the business of preparing, or providing services inconnection with the preparation of, returns under Chapter 5(commencing with Section 7651), or any person who for compensationprepares any such return for any other person, and who knowingly orrecklessly does either of the following, shall be guilty of amisdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not morethan one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisoned no more than oneyear, or both, together with the costs of prosecution: (1) Discloses any information furnished to him or her for, or inconnection with, the preparation of the return. (2) Uses that information for any purpose other than to prepare,or assist in preparing, the return. (b) Subdivision (a) shall not apply to disclosure of informationif that disclosure is made pursuant to the person's consent orpursuant to a subpoena, court order, or other compulsory legalprocess.
