RESPONSIBILITES
• Operate on a daily basis the service provided to the customer (Be the technical expert on how to operate Gemalto service).
• Support in case of critical issues on 24*7 on-duty basis
• Provide Technical Support. Manage communication with customer for calls status & update.
• Perform maintenance (apply bug fixes, patches and improvements) in scheduled downtime
• Do reporting on the traffic to be able to bill the customer, follow service usage & ongoing works with the customers
• Follow up with higher level support (e.g. R&D) towards problem resolution
• Feedback to PDL/NSI manager with return on experience on Gemalto service
• Work with
the WW Team to capitalize, Share experience & information
• Perform regular weekly reporting on operation activities to team leader
Technical competencies
• Knowledge in Java, XML, PL/SQL SQL and Oracle database.
• Good Knowledge on Web/Application Server such as Apache, Tomcat and JBoss
• Work experience in Unix OS command line/Shell scripting (Sun Solaris, Redhat Linux) environment and VMware usage/tuning
• Good Knowledge on Redhat Linux, Windows, SUN Solaris and able to manage the Unix Platform.
• Knowledge in Software Installation and configuration on Unix Platform
• ITIL knowledge will be a good advantage
• Knowledge on IP network, data center operation will be added advantage
• Telecom industry knowledge (GSM/3GPP, PKI, SIM, SMS, etc) will be added advantage
• International experience will be a good plus
Personal skills
• Good
communication skill with operational English
• Customer Satisfaction Oriented
• Problem solver and able to work under pressure
• Able to work in 24x7 on-duty environment
• Able to travel for short business trips
