Dear Abs and team,
Hope you are well! I was wondering whether anybody has tried to freeze embryoid bodies at Day 5 of the original protocol and before embedding in Matrigel and tested viability and  differentiation potential against a parallel differentiation of BMOs. If so, what media would you recommend for freezing and post thawing? Would you add any growth factors after thawing to assist with recovery? Would you recommend freezing them as aggregates?
Any help is much appreciated!

Many thanks
Best wishes,
Bella

We tried some freezing and thawing, and honestly it was something of a pain. The viability catastrophically drops... We didn't play around much with freezing them at the earlier stages as we couldn't see much benefit in. banking day3/5. We tested freeze and thaw at days 14 and 20 - poor results I'm afraid.
