Hi everyone,

I have a quick question regarding bone marrow organoids:

At day 16 , I’m observing the following morphology:

  • a compact, dark organoid core
  • surrounded by many small, round cells, partially forming clusters

I’ll attach some images for reference.

Is this type of cell release / morphology normal at this stage?

My assumption is that these are hematopoietic cells being released from the organoid, but I wanted to double-check with the community in case I’m missing something.

Thanks a lot in advance — and great work!

Hi Charlotte,

That's typically what I get and see, but I'm no expert, having just done 3-4 BMO differentiations at this point. It also varies for me which day the cells start to come out from the organoid.

Input from others is welcome!
Marie
