Alternative to Advanced BioMatrix VitroCol #5007

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question about Advanced BioMatrix VitroCol Human Collagen Type I (#5007).

It seems that #5007 may no longer be available due to manufacturing limitations. Has anyone switched to another collagen product as a replacement, especially for 3D hydrogel or organoid culture?

If so, I’d really appreciate any recommendations or feedback on how the alternative has worked for you.

Hi Yoonjoo, 

I have used this product in place of #5007 with similar results for the comBO hydrogel:  HumaDerm Human Skin Collagen Type I, 3 mg/ml Solution, Humabiologics | VWR, part of Avantor.
