Dear Mr. Pierre,

I am President of the Morehouse-Broward Alumni Chapter. The Chapter in Broward does not support individual students with funds, but chooses to contribute all of our scholarship funds thru the MCNAA's "300 fund program.".  This way we are contributing in a way that is balanced and administered along with other funds to students in need that are also academically proficient. We do however, ask that any funds available be given to Broward students first, then South Florida, then other students from Florida, and last to other nationally deserving students. Our funds are small and this allows us to leverage our contribution.

I will however, forward your "GoFundMe" information to alumni that we have record of in the Miami and South Broward area. That way individual graduates will also have an opportunity to know what you are doing.
 I hope you find some success in this approach.  

Let me commend you on your choice of college and wish you well in your search and academics. I look forward to hosting you thru the "Rite of Final Passage" May, 2018. That will also be my 50th Reunion year.
