Asamblea Popular / Popular Assemby

Te invita: (www.semillasautonomas.org); Facebook event page;Twitter: @DismantleBorder; #FueElEstadoChi

Popular Assemby:

Consulado General de Mexico en Chicago: 204 S. Ashland Ave.

December 19, 2014 (2:00PM )

In response to the 6th National Assembly held in Ayotzinapa, we invite everyone to participate in the First Popular Assembly of Chicago: “No to the politics of the narco-state!” We gather in response to the call from the Ayotzinapa movement for building a “politics from below, a politics of common and ordinary people.” It is time to develop forms of social, political and economic organization so that communities can become autonomous and self-sufficient and no longer be dependent on the capitalist system. The message from Ayotzinapa is to create new forms of governing that are horizontal, non-patriarchal, and based on direct participation not simply representation.

Bring your friends, your whole family and neighbors, children, youth and adults, to the following actions:

2:00 PM

Protest and People’s tribunal - share testimonies about state crimes against poor people, indigenous communities and immigrants (including disappearances, massacres, femicides, displacement, deportation, imprisonment and others). Community forum on autonomy and self-sufficiency.

5:00PM

Revolutionary Posada: bring food and ideas to share – let’s expand the dialog! Featuring a special appearance by a Peña Nieto piñata (Peñata). Come together to whack Peña Nieto!

Is anyone from the party of the PRD, the ones that administrate this group, at least giving some explanations about their members narco-politicians giving the order to kill the 43 students? what a cynicism!
