I've checked the manual and google, but nothing. Being a software driven touch screen you'd think you could easily reset/reboot to get it working again. Much like a blue screen of death, "have you turned it on/off".

Pulling out ICC-BAT 15AMP fuse for about 5 minutes also recovered the crashed GPS application in my Ford 2012 territory titanium. I've raised this issue on at least 3 separate services under warranty with Binks Ford Deer Park, had the ICC replaced twice yet GPS application continues to crash about twice a year. I can't believe Ford have not fixed such a lemon, what a disgrace Ford junk is.

I'll continue to peruse with Ford, but they are either absolutely clueless, or don't want to admit producing a LEMON....and just recover the application via hard reset without addressing the root cause.....clearly embedded systems and software is NOT Fords expertise

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem? The touch screen in my 2016 Falcon FGX CC isn't responding to touch anymore. Could have been something I did as I bought an Android Navigation Interface, fitted it and got to the stage where the Android system booted up but I couldn't access the menus because the touch screen wasn't responding. My chinese friends tell me I can use a mouse to access the menus but I haven't tried that as I removed the PCB from the back of the unit in case I caused any damage.

As it happens the system all still works though voice communication, just no touch. BTW I've gone thorough the Sync rebooting procedure on a number of times, including the battery terminal bit, but no joy.

We had an issue with the maps screen going blank on our 2011 SZ Territory . Many times the dealer tried disconnecting battery etc and all those tricks, would work sometimes for a while but then always fail again. After much arguing with the dealer (and Warrentor? as we'd bought an extended warranty) they finally said they'd replace the ICC module. We had to wait about 3 months or so for one to come as they were on back order or were "refurbished" units from the supplier. Not sure I believed what I was being told. Anyway, finally it was replaced and all good now however I've been told there are no updates available for the maps which are very old and show no new roads built in the last 5 years or so.
Does anyone know what i can do to update the maps?
Thanks
Jeremy

Hi all,
Recently the navigation screen on my Ford Falcon G6E 2014 model went blank.
Following the advice above, I turned off the ignition on the car, located fuse 28 (check the user manual) behind the panel under the dashboard to the right hand side of the steering wheel and pulled it out for 10 minutes. Then I started the car again. Instead of the usual display, I was shown the "ICC" screen (which I think that I had disabled) and then only two tabs came up on the ICC. Hmmmm, have I broken the navigation (as there are usually three tabs: Nav, Home, Menu)? In another 40 seconds or so, the Nav tab joined its friends and operated correctly (as it had previously). No data or settings lost. Huge confidence boost. High fives (to self as only you online guys were there to help me). No high cost of a Ford Official Service Centre!
Thanks all,
Cheer,
Rob.
