There are yet more changes in the infrastructure that Moqui uses that are not backward compatible. Oracle donated Java EE to the Eclipse Foundation and it has been renamed to Jakarta EE. Along with this there are package changes in the API specifications from javax.* to jakarta.* and that is the key thing that makes code using these APIs not backward compatible.
