Dear colleagues working in the area of Gyno-Obstetrics,

Using the googlegroups option I would like to disseminate an online course information in order to encourage our colleagues (and through you, your friends) to benefit from this online offer opportunity.

Eclampsia is one of the killing factors for pregnant women, responsible for about 13-15% of maternal deaths (WHO ref).
Oxford University in collaboration with Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research offers an on line course
"Evidence-based Management of Pre-eclampsia and Eclampsia" in order to confront this problem.

It is offered through the following modules:

Module 1: What is pre-eclapsiam, why does it develop and who is at risk?
Module 2: Clinical features of pre-eclampsia and eclampsia
Module 3: Antenatal care
Module 4: Management of eclampsia and severe pre-eclampsia
Module 5: Further management of pre-eclampsia and cases

Upon completing this online course (which consists of a few hours on line presentation) you will be asked to fill out your personal details in a feedback format, complete an assignment and take an online test. Those who pass the test will receive a certificate for completion of the course, co-issued by the Oxford University and the Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and
Research.
Wish you all the best,
