PhD position at Virginia Tech

Two PhD positions on multiphysics modeling of phase transformation, corrosion and fracture using MOOSE are available.  Candidates should be strongly self-motivated individuals possessing an BS/MS degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials science and engineering, or other closely related disciplines. Familiarity with Linux supercomputing environment and strong C++ programming skills are desirable.
