I am using the MultiApp system with the master app creating a sub app at every quadrature point. The input file for all the sub apps is the same. But mesh reading/generation takes place for every sub app created. Is it possible to create the mesh only twice once for the master app and once for the sub app.

Regards
Rahul

The general answer is no, each sub-application requires a mesh. However, recently within the stochastic tools module we created a "batch" mode that will re-use a single sub-application to act like many, which might be what you are after: https://mooseframework.inl.gov/batch_mode.html
