recently received the 4k stick and have no problems with all my streaming channels except for Netflix. Netflix will not load properly and constantly gives UI-800-02 error code. Tried deleting app, reinstalling, factory reset, all other options, nothing works. Netflix works fine on my other roku devices and smart tv's. roku said they would call me back, but no response. anyone else find a solution for this ?

i constantly get error UI-800-02 when i try to start Netflix on my Roku 4k streaming stick. No issues with it running on older roku devices that i have on other televisions. all applications work just fine, except Netflix. Called Samsung, they said it was Netflix, so called them. Netflix said it was Roku and when i called Roku they said that they needed to investigate and would get back to me within 24 hours. Unfortunately no one got back to me.

I've tried that multiple times and Roku support has had me perform perform factory reset, delete the application, reinstall application, turn everything off turn everything back on multiple times, Netflix still shows the same error and support had me provide the internal error codes. They indicated they would respond within 24 hours, but that time has come ne and gone with no resolution or contact.

We appreciate the time and effort you've put into resolving this Netflix issue. Please note that since this issue is specific to Netflix, we suggest contacting their customer support team, Netflix ContactUS, for further assistance and clarification. It's important to know that the majority of content on the Roku platform is provided and managed independently by the streaming channels' providers.

I contacted netflix, who told me to call Roku as the problem only occurs on the Roku ultra 4k stick. I provided the error codes to Roku support, but no one has followed up. Passing the buck back to Netflix doesn't help. I called Netflix who had me call samsung, samsung had me call roku, initially, roku had me call netflix who in turn told me to call roku. roku finally admitted there was a problem with the roku ultra 4k stick but no one is taking 'ownership' of the problem to get it resolved.

Please get someone in roku technical team to review the information provided to roku support and of course, if they need more data, i would be happy to share the entire page that shows all the error data on the roku device.

as a side note, others have had to uninstall/reinstall, or reset their roku device to get it to work with netflix, but none of their resolutions work for me. the fact that they experienced the same errors and after doing the above got their device to work properly demonstrates that the problem is with roku not netflix.

I was checking the Example Solution for the Netflix App and I noticed that the list of recommendations given by the app can contain the same movie/or TV show more than once.
I believe this happens because the searchTypeList function uses randomNumber to select 5 items (we run the loop 5 times) from the filteredTitles list, and it is possible to get the same number multiple times.
I thought this can be easily fixed by adding one line of code inside the second loop, right on the bottom. This is: removeItem(filteredTitles, index);
With this change, after each item is selected from the list and added to the variable output, it is removed from the list. Thus, there is no way we can get it again.
The next time we click the pickBtn, we call the searchTypeList function and the list gets populated again.
I have run the app several times and I think this works.

Well, it turns to out that for several of the combinations typeInput - ratingInput, we get either empty lists or lists containing only one item. This happens when selecting the TV Show option in combination with the following ratings: G, PG, PG-13, and R.

I had suggested to add removeItem(filteredTitles, index); to avoid having repeated titles among the 5 suggestions. This works well if the list has 5 or more than 5 items. If the list has less than 5 items, we will get an error message. This is because we are trying to remove items from a list that does not have them.

Searching for this error code, D7111-1331, at Netflix Help suggests that I disable any interfering Chrome extensions. In response to that, all extensions were disabled. No change. Anyone else seeing this on your machines?

Just noticed it on the current latest build of Edge Chromium - Version 77.0.235.4, same as @T0RL0C, though it could have been an issue before that. I've also tried disabling and removing all extensions but this doesn't work :(

Netflix quit and displayed error codes F7355-1204 and F7363-1260. It will go to the point where the movie is downloading but stops and displays the error codes. My os is Ubuntu 12.04 on a 32 bit machine. Netflix was working fine on the pipelight approach. Reinstalled firefox 52.0.2. Fixed libavcodec. Have yet to reinstall pipelight.

It doesn't sound like that's an option for you though, so if your comfortable using the last 32-bit version of chrome, it's still available as pointed out by this comment by David. You can obtain the .deb package directly from the Internet Archive here.

Note that there will be no further updates to this package (security or otherwise) so it would likely be prudent to restrict it's usage to Netflix only and not make it your default browser.

You can put the secret Netflix menu to work to get full control over what kind of content you devour. It's all dependent on a code-based system. Different numeric codes on the service let you browse and select from thousands of niche genres and subcategories, whether you're into horror or rom-coms.

Typically, you're constrained to the genres available to you via the main Netflix menu. There's no way to choose by specific category other than what's been chosen for you when you log on. Using these codes opens up an entire library of options for you to choose from that can help you better settle on what to watch for the night. It can even help you discover new shows and movies you've never heard of.

Adding these codes to the ends of Netflix URLs lets you directly access collections of movies and TV shows that fall under your chosen category. For example, if you're short on time and want to queue up a shorter movie, you could check the 90-Minute Movies category with the code 81466194. Looking for something for your entire brood to enjoy? The "Family Movie Night" collection, accessed with code 2013975, is chock-full of favorites even Grandma can get into.

There are well over 36,000 codes to choose from, so don't worry about memorizing them or trying random sequences. Resources like Netflix-Codes.com have an entire directory to sift through, so you can search for what you'd like to watch there and find corresponding codes in no time.

Netflix-Codes.com has a comprehensive list of the streaming platform's hidden genre categories and subcategories. In total, there are around 20 top-level categories covering genres like animation, foreign films and classic movies. Within those main genres are many more hyper-specific subgenres denoted by numeric codes.

The entirety of the categories available on Netflix starts with broad main genres like Action, Comedy and Drama, but they get more specific as you dive even deeper. There are straight-to-the-point collections like Movies Directed by Women (code 2974953), or more specifically targeted curated lists, like Supernatural Soaps (code 81238162), just in case you like your werewolves with a side of angst and romance.

Are you a huge Swiftie? Is there another celebrity you want to learn more about? The Pop Culture Icons category (code 81278963) includes picks like the Taylor Swift-centric documentary Miss Americana or the Whitney Houston biopic I Wanna Dance with Somebody.

Maybe you've been told time and time again that you should really get into Korean TV and don't know where to start. Hit up the K-Dramas for Beginners menu (code 2953105) for a selection of hit K-Drama series like Squid Game and Boys Over Flowers.

Rather than relying solely on the standard homepage categories or Netflix's algorithm, you can use these secret codes to pinpoint and explore different nooks and crannies of the catalog to find hidden gems.

If you're not comfortable with editing Netflix URLs, you can use a browser extension to access the secret menus. The Better Browse for Netflix extension for Chrome is a great choice. Here's how to use it:

If the extension is installed, you'll see a Browse All option at the top of your Netflix home screen next to My List. Click it to scroll through the subgenres or to search through specific categories.

Alternatively, you can use the FindFlix: Netflix Secret Category Finder browser extension for Chrome or Firefox. This add-on will create a drop-down menu complete with Netflix categories for your browser that you can scroll through by clicking on the FF icon that will appear on the top right of your screen. There's no need to scroll Netflix natively with this add-on, and it features 7,500 categories alphabetized for your convenience.

4. If you're on a device that has the Netflix app installed, the app should open and take you directly to the genre or subgenre you chose. If you don't have the app installed, it'll open Netflix through the browser and you can view the specific movies and shows available.

Like many people nowadays, binge watching series after series on Netflix has become the norm. Quite frequently I'd come home from work, have tea, then chill out with Netflix (not to be confused with Netflix and chill). On an average night, I'd watch at least 3 episodes of something, 4 if my eyes could handle it, head to bed, then rinse and repeat all through the week.
