A beginning

A BEGINNING: September 4, 2008

The new system here is still unknown and awkward, and we can see that
it will take some time to master it. With our being in the final
proofing stages and printing of the newspaper, this "was not" the time
to start-up our group, but here we are . . . and we are starting a
discussion with this.

EVENTS: On September 2-3 we sent out the last e-supplement! You will
receive no more in the future, and, sometime soon, the blog site will
go away as well.

NOTICE OF INTENT:

We are now going to use this group as "the" place for your in-between-
issues information, announcements and questions.

Also, we will create pages here for reference on "how to", and various
guidelines that apply to moonset Literary Newspaper
(re: submissions, contest, etc.). In addition, we will be moving our
payment and subscription links, plus just about anything that has been
on the blog site up until now.

This is not an atypical "regular or open" workshop , and is not
intended for posting random poetry or general simultaneous submissions
since we do not want to compete with the printed version of our
newspaper, or any other publications either.

Rather, this group is strictly intended for posting poems that will
"only" be submitted to moonset "firstly", (and limited to those that
you feel might need c & c beforehand), although this does not
guarantee publication. Please respect this restriction, and do not
post "anything" here that you will be submitting elsewhere to any
other printed publication or online presentation, during the time-
period that it is being considered by moonset.

Also, we would appreciate it if you only posted one poem at a time,
and please just (haiku) for now. No senryu, tanka, haibun, haiga or
