I have figured out some of my issues, well I have workarounds now anyway. 

Connection: if the MP locks it turns off BT, mooltifill detects this and changes to disconnected correctly. when i unlock the MP it enables BT and the app detects as connected but doesnt display the locked/unlocked status. at this point the way to get a connection is to disable BT on my phone, then enable it again, then test connection in mooltifill. I guess something changes when it reconnects to the phone 

once connected the autofill option comes up in apps and i can log in if i create a service with the correct  com.appname.dev the MP is looking for. will there be a way to add this to existing services so we dont have duplicate creds?

also the autofill seems to work on app login pages but doesnt come up when using the chrome app.. like going to the github login page in chrome and clicking username doesnt show the mooltifill button.

Thanks for the feedback! We're currently actively working on reported bugs :).

Regarding com.appname.dev to standard service name mapping, it's a tricky topic we're looking into as a given app name may map to different services (.fr, .de, .com) depending on the user's country.

I'll check with our developer regarding autofill framework integration on chrome, I'm hoping it's not something they disabled.

I actually have quite a few services that use the same username and passwords at different sites. for example broadlink and ihc both use the same user account but have 2 different websites and apps. if i change my password i have to remember to change it in both places on my mooltipass otherwise i forget after a few days. it would be nice to be able to link them together so I only have to change the one password. I was thinking like a link from one service to the master one.

digging a bit deeper into the chrome autofill and found other apps use the inline autofill feature of the keyboard, however it does say it should default back to the dropdown menu.. but all I can get is the google password manager trying to take over and that only seems to happen on password fields not usernames

You're actually describing the credential mirroring feature: https://github.com/mooltipass/minible/issues/123, which is indeed in our todo list :).

Autofill: I was not expecting this bad surprise from Google :/
