Hi Mathieu,

I have successfully uploaded and installed the latest firmware version, version 8, into my Mooltipass BLE. I have also installed the Mooltifill app on my phone, enabled bluetooth on them both and the device connected to my phone, When I select 'Test Mooltipass Device Connection" it returns a message of "Waiting for device access..." and just sits there. During this process I have the Mooltipass connected to Moolticute and simultaneously observe the daemon logs, there are no events created in the logs (I don't know if there are suppose to be any).
My phone is a OnePlus 3 running Android 9.0.6. It is possible that this phone is too old to work with Mooltipass.
When I do the same procedure on my Samsung Tablet, Android version 8.10 Type SM-P585Y (Galaxy TabA (2016) with S Pen, the Mooltipass connects ok but when I enter a web page requiring login the Mooltipass does nothing, however if I find the login credentials in the Mooltipass I am able to enter them in using "Type Login" and Type Password"
Do you know if this is a common problem or are my devices too old to be compatable with Mooltipass

Regards

Ian

Hello Ian!

In the case you've updated your device after first pairing your phone to it, you'll need to unpair/repair :).
In theory mooltifill should be compatible with more device, as it uses a standard communication pipe.  Could you make sure you enabled mooltfill as an autofill service?

Hi Mathieu,

Thanks for your prompt reply. I did unpair (Forget) the bluetooth Device and repaired again on both phone and tablet. and in both cases I removed autofill service from Bitwarden, which I normally use< to Mooltipass as prompted in the app setup. I was wondering if the latest firmware update addressed the issue of the time keeping on the Mooltipass. After the update I left the unit on charge for about four hours and checked the TOPT results with my authenticator app and they were correct +/- a few seconds. When I tested it again this morning they were way out, as if the Mooltipass had lost its time. I connected the Mooltipass on my computer again this morning, left it for a few minutes and tested again and the TOPT codes were correct. Is there any way to check the time of the Mooltipass unit the minute it is plugged into Moolticute, as Moolticute appears to only show the PC time, and/or any way to correct the time on the unit itself without connecting it to the PC. Will using Mooltifill do anything to the time, ie synchronise the BLEs time to that of the phone.

Hello Ian,

Glad that worked!
Time keeping issues will be worked on on bundle v9 :). I'm afraid there's currently no time to show the device's local time.
Typically you'll need to leave the device connected to your computer for 5-6 hours to let it fully calibrate its internal clock :).

It's indeed planned to have mooltfill let the device know the current time :)

Hi Mathieu,

Thanks for your reply.
The pairing of BLE to the android devices and the auto filling via Mooltifill did not work, they are doing the same as they were doing yesterday. That is really not a problem for me as I can just view the credentials on the BLE screen and manually type them in as I have been doing. My main issue is the accuracy of the TOTP as I would really like to have the 2Fa apps off my phone, I don't see much point on having a 2Fa app on the same device you are logging in with, perhaps with the exception of the Yubico Authenticator where you need the physical key to display the codes.
