I was hoping I could make it too, but I'm trying to get Mikhaya ready for Abaco Race Week.
So much to do.
You can ask why the phrf rating for a 425 is SO low!
102.
I'll have to compete using my home against full race boats.
Have fun!
Matt
Hi Peter,
I really wish David and I could make it down for the talk. We just got back from CA and will head for FL next weekend for a Conf. for David. With all of that travel it was not possible to take off this weekend - plus I also had other commitments. Please let Mr. Moody know that we love our Moody 376! She is getting an interior refit and will also be getting an electric propulsion system. Yes, I will be sure to document that so you can put it in the newsletter - all progress is quite slow at this point though - money being the main issue.
Enjoy the talk and we'll look forward to the video!
Thanks!
Sally & David

I just wanted to remind everyone that David Moody is flying over from England and will be making a presentation for us on the Moody Legacy. The event is still at the Truffles Cafe located at 71 Lighthouse Road, Hilton Head Isle, SC. Their phone number is 834-671-6136. We have a room reserved for 3:00 pm, June 4th. There is no need to make any reservations yourself. The room is already reserved for the Americas Chapter of the MOA. All you have to do is show up. I checked out the menu and it looks good but reasonable. I have also asked Mr. Moody to bring some copies of his book "The Moody Legacy" which goes over the long history of the company and details the different boats that were made by the Moody Yacht company. I want to purchase a copy and have him autograph it for me. If anyone would like a copy of the let me know and I will pass on the word. However, I would like to emphasize that I asked him to bring the book. I don't want
anyone thinking he is doing this just to sell books. If anyone is interested in purchasing one of Mr. Moody's books you can either email me or call me on my cell phone 850-324-8506.
As I mentioned when we first started setting up this rendezvous, I will try to film the presentation and make it available to those who can't make it to HiIton Head but I would certainly like to meet as many of our fellow Moody owners as possible. I am particularly looking forward to meeting up with Mark Zettl! He and I have been emailing back and forth for years now and now we will have the opportunity to chat in person. Now if only Matt Salatino could make it I would be able to hang out with a couple of my on line buddies for the first time.
