Hello, I have just installed your application on my moodle site and
would like to request information about your Resource Key and other
permissions if possible. The site I am referring to is http://the3rdgoal.org

Thank you for your time and help,

Jennie

Jennie,

I am a little confused. Are you running Moodle on 3rdgoal?

Hi Chuck,

Yes, the3rdgoal is a moodle site making use of a theme called Liip. The entire site is Moodle. if you want to see the original Liip site you can go to this URL: http://liip.ch and the theme was created by New School Learning …

I also have a Moodle 2.0 URL : http://thedidacticproject.org and would also want to install your application on that site as well.

Thank you,
Best,

Jennie

Hi Again Chuck,

I also forgot to mention that I am developing a Non-Profit distance education program on The3rdGoal if that helps any. Currently I am registering that site with the United States IRS. You may find other instances of registrations listed on the site as I have completed several other steps in this process of becoming a charitable distance education web site …

I hope that this lets you become less confused > http://the3rdgoal.org is a Moodle site and I was just requesting a Key for your product.

I also hoped to add your product to http://thedidacticproject.org which is a Moodle 2.0

Sorry for the confusion and please let me know if I can further assist in this request.

Best, Jennie

OK - Now I am caught up.   There is no key required to install the Basic LTI Module in either 1.9 or 2.0.  You just install the tool and then you can plug in tools that support Basic LTI.  Those tools will each give you a url/key/secret.

Here is a list of compliant tools and software:

There are not a lot of free tools yet.  Mostly commercial companies have built tools (so far). If you want to play a bit, here is a test URL/Key/Secret:

Secret: secret

This way you can test the tool and see if it works.

Hope this helps.

/Chuck
