Hi,

I'm having problems with uploading projects. Someone had a similar problem few days ago. Submit and test locally buttons are muted. I have checked multiple times that I have selected the right course. Yesterday I was able to submit all exercises I had done, but not today. Any solutions?

I had that problem and I had to use another laptop and then it worked out alright :)

Yeah, I can submit them with my mac, but it would be much easier to use my pc since it has all the previous exercises. Using laptop because submitting doesn't work is hardly a solution to the problem. Well, I guess it'll have to do for now. Thank you for your answer. :)

So maybe correct question here is how/where you have downloaded these exercises to your other machine.

I guess that tmc should have downloaded those to for these to be considered as tmc-exercises.
Then after it has downloaded the exercises you may copy/update those outside of netbeans without any issues.

TMC downloaded the exercises automatically for both computers. Before today I everything worked perfectly, so I can't see why the problem would be in downloading the exercises.

And you have confirmed you have correct course selected and your username and password set correctly in the settings.
(Tmc->Settings)
Does the refresh course list work.

Is that for all exercises or just one specific?
Which course and exercise?

Has the deadline passed?

I have same settings on both computers. The course is right and I haven't touched the username and password settings since I first entered them in the beginning of the course. Submitting exercises works for both of my roommates who are on the same course and they have exactly the same settings as I do. Refresh course list works.

The course is Aalto BIZ Introduction to Programming.
Deadline is two hours from now (23.59). Would be nice to find a solution to this as submitting the last exercises would be a lot faster.

I'm also having problems with the system..

I completed week 5 assignments about an hour ago but I haven't been able to download assignments for week six.. The system says that it's unable to connect to Mooc.

Would have been nice to gain a few extra points, but seems like it's not gonna work.

It seems we have people having different issues here

## Run tests locally and submit buttons are disabled.

This is basically caused by two reasons:
1) Deadline is passed
2) Not detected as active exercise

What you can try is to in 'file manager / file browser' rename/move exercise project, let tmc redownload it and then copy the old folder back replacing the one downloaded by tmc.
Path where files are downloaded can be seen in TMC -> Settings. Probably NetBeansProjects/CourseName in your home directory.

## Cannot connect to tmc.mooc.fi/mooc

I can confirm that it is online -> I would suspect to have local connection issues. Maybe your firewall or isp is blocking (not likely in europe though).
Try accessing that url with your browser, does it work? if yes then its most likely your firewall.
Let me know your IP address (http://ip.jamo.fi) in separate email so that I can confirm with our servers whether we are receiving any traffic from that ip.

Most likely if using windows it is your antivirus or firewall or both.
