Hi,

Please help - I have no idea what I'm doing wrong? Cant get the hidden word to work! Ive tried everything! There must be something Im missing!

Hi,

Your problem is that variable gletter is initialized in guessLetter method and if guessLetter is not called before calling hiddenWord method gletter variable will be null and will therefore throw nullpointerexception.

Thank you so much for your response Joni! It was very helpful. I've initialised the gletter variable now, but for some reason my hidden word doesn't change when the correct letter is guessed? Is there any way you could help me out again?
